Thursday community table tennis

Our club has a proud history, over nearly 30 years, of welcoming people with different abilities and from different backgrounds.

Thursday after-school community table tennis uses table tennis to break down barriers and promote connection. It is pitched at primary and high-school students and players living with a disability. It runs from 3-5pm each and every Thursday including in school holidays (although we stop over the Christmas school holidays). We have 9 tables set up (including wheel-chair tables), a table tennis ball machine, and a virtual-reality headset (for playing table tennis). Our club has decided to make Thursday after-school community table tennis free for all players - although if you become a regular player we will need to ask you to take up membership ($35 per year) for insurance purposes.

We would like to sincerely thank Deloraine Lions Club, Meander Valley Council, and Special Olympics Australia for their ongoing support for our Thursday after-school community table tennis program.
